Overview of HVAC System Program
In order to correspond with the various configurations of HVAC systems, the method of construction system called “module,” which connects the standardized calculation parts, is used. Other than the element equipment, the utility module, such as the fan coil unit, room elements, boundary condition and monitor output for system calculations are included in the HVAC related module. To eliminate the time required to connect the element equipment the template for the air conditioning unit, heat source and other elements are equipped beforehand. This allows for construction of the entire system without being conscious of the details of the element equipment.
For example, the figure is a case of heat source template for chilled water loop with an absorption chiller. Because the part in the red solid line including the cooling water system is already connected there is no need for adding any other primary pump and chilled water loop.
In addition, it is easy to replace this water source chiller in the air-cooled chiller template.
